Nepenthes carunculata X ventricosa is an Exotica Plants hybrid between two highlanders. I got this plant from Exotica and was told they had one available. I don't know if this hybrid is going to be released in the future or is left over from a previous offering. I grow this outdoors as a highlander in direct sun. So far it hasn't showed any signs of stress for a new arrival. The pitchers are as it arrived. I haven't seen or heard anything about this particular hybrid in any of the forums. I grow both parent plant species and they do well for me. The N. carunculata var. robusta is a bit slower growing than the N. ventricosa. Exotica Plants is starting to release more and more hybrids using N. carunculata var. robusta which should prove very interesting.
