Nepenthes carunculata X ventricosa is an Exotica Plants hybrid between two highlanders. I got this plant from Exotica and was told they had one available. At the time, it wasn't on their list but as of 2008 size 3 plants from seed were available. I grow this outdoors as a highlander in direct sun. It has produced multiple shoots and has flowered. The leaves resemble N. ventricosa and its growth habit as well. It's an easy growing hybrid that once established, it doesn't require a lot of attention. Because it puts out multiple growth points and is a vigorous grower rooted cuttings should be available in the future.
