upper pitcher

N. eymae XX (stenophylla X lowii) lower pitcher
plant origin: Exotica Plants

Nepenthes eymae XX (stenophylla X lowii) is a complex hybrid between 2 highlanders. The female parent, N. eymae, is very apparent in the upper pitchers. The main difference is that the tube is more elongated than the species N. eymae uppers. The lowers seem to resemble N. eymae lowers with a heavy influence of the N. stenophylla. I grow this plant in full sun as a highlander outdoors with no problems. It's a moderate grower for highlander with more vigor than N. lowii and N. stenophylla that I consider slow growers.
