Nepenthes pervillei  is a lowlander that comes from the Seychelles. The Nepenthes Nursery in Germany seems to be the only vendor having this species available. I grow this guy as a windowsill plant. By the red spotting on the leaves, it has been getting an ample amount of sunlight. It arrived as a small plant out of tissue culture that took a while to adjust to windowsill conditions. It has developed a nice waxy outercoating on the leaves and I plan on trying another one outdoors. The Nepenthes Nursery says this is a difficult plant to grow. It's been a moderate grower for me with minimal problems as a windowsill specimen. I have no experience growing this species in a terrarium setting which I suspect would be optimum growing conditions but this little guy has proved hardy and adaptable.
