Nepenthes sibuyanensis X N. truncata is an Exotica Plants hybrid between the highlander N. sibuyanensis and the lowlander N. truncata. Both parent plants lend size to the pitchers. Many of Exotica Plant's hybrids that involve N. truncata get good size to the pitchers. This hybrid should prove an easy grower tolerant of highland to intermediate conditions. Exotica Plants has produced another hybrid using a different N. truncata. The pitchers now are good sized so I anticipate them getting quite large as the plant grows out. I like hybrids with N. sibuyanensis as they prove hardy and large. Right now many of the Exotica Plants hybrids with N. sibuyanensis are reasonably priced and not overly expensive. This could turn out to be a nice hybrid to grow indoors but would get very large I suspect.
