Nepenthes sp. #2 "Doorman's Top" is an undescribed species. It grows as a typical highlander and described as possibly N. papuana on the Nepenthes Nursery site. There is a photo of the pitcher there as well. I have no information on this plant other than I received it, potted it up, and put it outside. It appears fine with no transplant shock whatsoever. Since my plant receives a lot of light, the whole plant has turned maroon red. I've found it to be rather slow growing outdoors. If grown in typical highland Nepenthes environments, this clone might grow more quickly. The pitchers in the photo from the Nepenthes Nursery kind of resemble N. muluensis in coloration. Currently, I know of no other vendor than the Nepenthes Nursery in Germany who is offering this plant for sale and those plants are very small. It may be several years before photos of mature pitchers become available
