Nepenthes ventricosa X N. aristolochioides is another Exotica Plants hybrid that is a knock-out. You can definitely see the N. aristo in the peristome on this hybrid. The swirling patchy pitcher color is very nice as well. The pitcher is slightly pinched in like N. ventricosa. This hybrid is a vigorous grower that has put out many basal growths. But for some reason, it seems to have a limited availability. I got mine from Exotic Plants Plus as a rooted cutting so I'm surprised I haven't seen more plants around. I grow this guy in full sun in a hanging basket with no difficulties. In fact, it is one of the easiest growing Nepenthes in my collection. My N. thorelii x aristolochioides and N. truncata x aristolochioides are vigorous hybrids as well so it appears that crosses using N. aristolochioides have a lot of hybrid vigor. What's typical of Exotica Plants hybrids is that they will be available for a short while and when they're all snatched up, they're gone. Then the only way to get them is from cuttings or extra plants. So sometimes nice hybrids are available for a few months then disappear for years. I think any  N. aristolochioides hybrids coming out of  Exotica Plants are "musts" for the collection!
