(Nepenthes x rokko X N. veitchii) X N. fusca is a complex hybrid that originated from Exotica Plants. N. X rokko is a hybrid involving N. thorelii and N. maxima and is used extensively in many crosses. Some of Exotica's nicest crosses involve N. X rokko. I bought the plant as a rooted cutting from Cook's Carnivorous Plants because Dean recommended it to me. It has done well outdoors and has produced pitchers from the start. You can definitely see the N. fusca in this plant but the pitcher is more plump than a typical N. fusca. I haven't seen any adult photos of this plant to compare mine with. Its growth habits seem very vigorous like N. fusca and should do just fine outdoors. With all the hybrids out there, I probably wouldn't have originally sought this plant out, but when a grower recommends a plant I usually end up buying it.
